Hiya all,

Please can you lend your wisdom my way? I started out with a very dark red (cherry red) (pictured), and have made my way to a cheerful (not!) ginger. (Pictured as well)

I fully expected it to get to this colour, I'm just wondering how much further I might get from here.

I would like to get to a neutral light blonde if at all possible. (Also pictured)

Here's what I've done so far:

2 x treatment using Decolour remover extra strength.

What else can I do? I have a box of Colour B4 (for frequent use). I also have two boxes of a light ash blonde semi perm colour for when the time comes.

I actually was a hairdresser for years, but it's been awhile and I do believe we have advanced a bit. I'm game for using bleach if needed, but if not needed, happy to hear what you might think can get me to my goal (if at all possible!)

I am a realist and would be perfectly happen to find even a way to get neutral medium to light blonde.

Thanks to all !!! Dark red.jpg  red help.jpg  loreal-9a-cooler-light-ash-blonde-hair-color-1-kt-box.jpeg

I thought I'd continue to share as I work through getting back to blonde.

As you read in the original post, I started with back-to-back treatments of Decolour extra strength. Today I did a treatment of Colour B4 (for frequent use), it didn't really do much. That is when I knew I'd worked far enough down to the stained hair.

I then got some bleach, Jerome Russell Bblonde Maximum Blonding. I will need one more treatment to get it lifted enough to do any type of toner.

So, here is the picture of how far I got with three treatments of colour remover and one bleaching. I will be removing the ends, as they are done. I am also going to be getting some extensions at the end of the month.

Keep you posted! And of course, please feel free to add any ideas or tips. Thanks! lighter red.jpg

So-today! Another escapade and journey into colour. Fun times indeed (SIGH!). I bleached again and I did a semi perm colour over to help neutralise the gold. Still not quite there. I purchased another more mild bleach. I mean, my hair is just about over all this torture, but I am afraid I won't be able to shake the yellow/orange without one more.

I have your toner (Iced Platinum) colour restore, but I am thinking I am going to need to lift this a bit. Any suggestions? What if I do a bleach shampoo/conditioner-instead of the straight bleaching? I wonder if that would pull it up enough, keeping in mind I really don't want to damage it too much more.

Thanks for any tips! Almost there.jpg

Ok, so here we are. One bleach wash and semi permanent colour later. I added a bit of your toner into my semi perm colour. I would say that from here I probably need to do a straight toner on dry hair as prescribed. But of course, happy to hear your input! x
